Colored advertisement was released in 2011. In the ad the actress who was then 17 years old was seen sitting with her legs clamped Oh Lola!, Jacobs perfume in a bottle shaped vase.

When a party objects to assess Jacobs exploit the fact that Fanning looked so young, blonde young star hit back by saying, "I love Marc and believe in him."

To the magazine he also said, "I like Marc and believe in him, and we just laughed about it."

The ad has been posted on several British media, including ES Magazine (London Evening Standard owned) and the Sunday Times Style magazine.

After the ad was published, the British Advertising Standards Authority reported that the ad has triggered some objections. "We noted that the model was holding a bottle of perfume in her lap between her legs and we considered that its position is sexually provocative," said the The British Advertising Standards Authority.

"We consider the length of her dress, her legs, and position of the perfume bottle drew attention to her sexuality," continues the same.

"Because of that, along with her appearance (Fanning), we considered the ad could be seen as sexual exploitation of a child. Therefore, we concluded that the ad was irresponsible and likely to cause serious offense," continued the party as well.

The company producing international beauty products, Coty, which makes the perfume, denied that Fanning looked under age or sexuality exploited.

"The ad does not show the private parts of the body or any sexual activity. Giant perfume bottle was provoking, but not indecent," said the company.

Jacobs said he chose the young actress because Fanning could be a "contemporary Lolita" and Jacobs have been inspired by the appearance of punk rock Fanning as singer was 15 years old in the movie The Runaways.

"Dakota was in it (the movie), and I knew she could be this contemporary Lolita, seductive yet sweet," said the fashion designer.

However, Jacobs explanation raises more controversy. Lolita is the title of a controversial work of Vladimir Nabokov's novel, about the sexual obsession of a middle-aged man to a girl of 12 years. Now Lolita is a term widely used to describe a young virgin whose sexually mature before their time.
